The new domestic terminal 1 looks cool, lots of spaces and food is also good.

Small but cute terminal. Chairs for seating all stacked up together. No smoking room. No need to walk for minutes to find the departure gates as all r in one single line and you won't miss it

What's interesting here is that while the rest of the world is moving to contemporary simplistic designs for their furniture, Kochi airport actually has single seater SOFAS in their waiting area!

Get your luggage checked by the check in.counters. Hand baggage and body check nearby. But before that don't forget to get your boarding pass from the respective airline counter. Happy journey.

When coming to pick someone up, you don't have to stand outside, pay 20rs and you can sit inside with a view of the baggage claim. Pretty convenient. Make sure to carry a photo ID.

Comfortable seats, nice bookshops, newspapers available and TVs to watch. But, you better eat before you come to the airport or on the flight, the food in the airport is not worth buying.
