Get your timing right and you could make the ultimate 5-layer multi-modal transportation sandwich. Thank local advocates Livable Streets for getting two new 5-foot bike lanes on the car bridge, btw.

Heading East on Comm Ave, you must take a right opposite of the bridge and then make a large loop around to the next intersection, take a left back onto Comm Ave, and then take a right onto the bridge

Walk over the bridge if you usually drive. You'll see stuff that you might otherwise never notice. Like the city east and a flock of white geese!

Use the BU bridge to cross over the Charles river. Works every time!

Unless it is after 7 or you are on foot, avoid using this bridge as a point of transportation. It is a mess.
