There will be a Waitrose Southbound opening later in 2014 - I'm told - to match existing Northbound one.

If you're travelling south don't bother trekking over to Waitrose on northbound side. It's a long, convoluted route and the tiny store is the untidiest Waitrose I've ever encountered! #shameful

Bring a flask and a blanket. Coldest service station I've ever been in. Even the hand dryers are cold!

Waitrose is on the Northbound side only. It's a bit of a trek over the bridge of you're heading south and in a hurry. One of the better services on the M1 though.
