Stores stock shelves in the evening or at night when there are fewer customers. It can be harder then to get to shelves or maneuver through aisles but its nothing personal as a previous tip implies.

Worst wait ever, they will not open a new lane no matter how many people are in line. Go to Kroger, much better service

If the aisle light is on and a cashier is standing in the aisle, then yes... They're open.

Go to electronics or the jewelry dept, to cash out.

Don't go in after 9pm. They don't want you there and will make it as difficult as possible for you to get the things you need from the shelves and then check out. Go to Kroger or Meier instead.
