The best route to Mannum from Adelaide is via Chain of Ponds, Gumeracha, Birdwood, Palmer, etc - a highly scenic route. However, drive safely - gum trees near the road make it 'unsafe' in places.

Mannum on the Murray River - a great place to relax along the water's edge with a bbq or picnic, or frolic in the water. Visit the museum or pre-book a ride on the old paddleboat PS Murray Princess .
