We took out the new year package, the food was good, the rooms comfortable and modern and the breakfast is by far the best out of any hotel we have stayed in.

Very poor service, everybody of the staff looks like there are afraid of working. Try to do the checkout the day before you leave, otherwise make shure you have time.

Things going pretty well so far. Helpful checkin. Minor construction at entrance. Engaging barman. 3 miles from Aberdeen is a trek. Looking forward to a workout in the fitness center. Impressive.

While the rooms have been updated with modern furniture, lots of storage, and flatscreen Philips' TVs, the beds are HARD--it's like sleeping on pavement!

Food is OK. They have a tendency to overcook everything, so think a/b this when ordering. Service is very "dodgy"--you have to track down your waitress on a regular basis.

terrible food and service, but wrth it when taking the 2-day offer for using the spa and gym, use it as a B&B, and go in town for meals and a good night out instead.
