Reading the previous comments, it has definitely improved. We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were a bit musty, but all in all I would recommend this place.

You get what you pay for, it is a mediocre stay but location is prime. The lodge is old and needs lots of updates... Including air freshners for the musty rooms. But like I said location is prime!

Parkwood Lodge is located across the road from Peninsula State Park... About 1 1/2 miles from the main entrance!

Our room smelled like an old musty basement, the beds are old uncomfortable box springs, and the decor needs an update. But the rates are lower I suppose.
