The mussel pots were far too heavy for our tastes. Everyone left with a sore stomach after the dinner. However, service was friendly.

Mussel sampler is a fun way to taste the variety of choices and the spaghetti vognole with a heaping of NZ clams was really nice.

A must-stop local's spot in the middle of mussel country. The mussels are huge & fresh.

The mussel with Garlic, white wine & herbs is superb. We drove back from picton on the way back to Wellington! Remember to use the first shells as the tweezer to pick up other ones. No Forks!
