Freshly cooked both the takeaway and sit in are consistently excellent !! Best fish and chip shop I've ever come across outside Scotland!!

Cod & chips OK although the fish a bit oily, but nothing special (and on the pricey side for the portion), and no better than that in nearby pubs,e.g. go to Slug & Lettuce or even better Princes Head.

Their take away boxes are cardboard. Fancy yes, but it ensures the fish doesn't sweat and get soggy by the time you get home like polystyrene does.
