This is a great local museum and planetarium. They have an adult after hours program that is great as well

Enjoy the planetarium; several specimens from prehistory, including dinosaurs and a mastodon (a T. rex skeleton towers over the lobby); live animals; and a hall on the history of Native Americans.

Depressing they keep live animals in the same size displays as stuffed animals...not coming back
