This portrait of George Washington has hung prominently in the House of Reps room since the 1840s. It looked over the body of Abraham Lincoln who was laid here before being buried at Oak Ridge.

Truly one of the most surreal historical locations in the country. Abraham Lincoln gave his "House Divided" speech in the House of Reps room and spent many years here practicing law.

The Lincoln Troubadours are incredible--an absolute must-see in the summer. The whole building is completely restored as well.
