Ice skating in Central Park is a true NYC holiday experience. Not as touristy as Rockefeller or Bryant Park's ice rinks and has way more space. November is a great time with some trees still alive

If you are just going there for fun and don't know to skate, just buy one visit for $5 and share with the other person. Nobody notices.
