Beautiful and classy hotel, stay here or either visit. There plenty of good restaurants to visit. We dine at le club and it was very tasty. The best choice in Hanoi no doubt!

The spa treatment was luxurious with a great sauna and steam room to use prior . Ensure you have ample time and to slot it in before your massage treatment .

Nice hotel. Book in the Opera Section...as rooms newer, more modern, lighter colours compared to to Metropole section (older classical furnished rooms)

A beautiful hotel set in a central area of the French quarter in Hanoi. The staff service is impeccable, the buffet breakfast so grand in the tea room and the pool area and restaurants are must visit

Stay in the old building and don't miss a massage at the spa. One of the best I've ever had! And I walked out just in time to see this rainbow.

One of the best we ever stayed in. Fantastic atmosphere. Great pool, very friendly staff. We overslept (jetlag) and missed breakfast: they just sent 2 trolleys with delightful food to our room. Top!

Steep in history, a classic colonial hotel that is over 100 years old. Do not miss the daily tours of the bomb shelter and it's interesting history in Hanoi. Tour is available for hotel guest only.

Gorgeous Colonial institution. Beautifully restored and updated. Great service, and ambiance, with lovely rooms in the Opera wing. Quaint bar. My go-to place when staying in Hanoi.

Recently renovated, nicely done-up. 2 bedrooms. Great bathrooms, and wifi - necessary in Hanoi with no 3G. Graham Greene wrote "The Quiet American" at the Metropole. Choc buffet downstairs = Yum! :-)
