For hiking lovers the castle can offer walking path around, lasting approx. 3-4 km. It's called PR3-SSB and it can be checked with local maps of Sesimbra available in merely all hotels around.

The ancient castle walls are in very good condition, but there is nothing much important or interesting inside the castle. The main idea is to see picturesque panoramas of Sesimbra from the top.
